Janice will be sorely missed and is survived by her children, Greg (Andi) Tye, Kim (Mike) Connors and Tracy Tye grandchildren, (Christopher, Taylor, Zachary, Noah, Spencer and Lillie brother, Jim (Lonna) Lowe and sisters, Brenda (Lee) Schertz and Phyllis Whitten. (You knew to bring a container for the leftovers!) She was a master cook in the kitchen, renowned for making enough to feed her family for a week. Her talent came out in the beautiful ceramic villages, amazing quilts and the incredible Halloween and theatre costumes she made for her grandchildren. She loved crafts and you never knew what masterpiece she would create next. It was “her thing” to get every grandkid to ride in the front seat of the latest roller coaster and no one could beat her at video games, especially Yoshi. Family meant everything to Sue, as she was called by the ones closest to her. Successful in life, Jan worked for Champion, Owens Corning and ICM and upon retirement managed Green Meadows Apartments. Her smile brightened a room, her laughter filled the air, but on May 29, surrounded by family telling stories that had everyone laughing out loud, Janice Sue Tye passed away. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Adalbert Catholic Church in Toledo from 10:00 a.m.
